Places appear here before their dog policy is confirmed. Those entries say so plainly. The alternative is guessing, and a guessed answer sends someone on a two-hour drive to be turned away at the door.

Where the beach rules come from

Public spaces protection orders published by the councils, linked from each row on the beach page, with the date each was last read.
